The sport of snowboarding is progressing constantly, Nial is a person who has a major effect in this progression. He is the most naturally talented, creative snowboarder I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. An ambitious attitude and big smile is paired with this amazing talent... this is what snowboarding needs.

SUMMER 08

The summer started out with Dakota Whitaker, Jared Feldman and myself getting in my 1991 Toyota Carrolla and making the voyage from New Hampshire to Vermont to California and then up to Mt. Hood. Spirits were high and we made it to California to pick up our good friend Matt Rabow within 3 or 4 days. Matt then joined our trip and with 4 strong, we continued to our new destination, Mt. Hood. When we arrived in Oregon the plan wasn't to go straight to Mt. Hood... we had to pick up our dearest friend Nial Romanek at the Portland airport. After picking him up it was onwards with our sights set on Mt. Hood. We originally had the plan to stay with some close friends at their house. Our partying didn't match to well with their room mates so we were kicked out. We only had a 5 person tent so everyone was determined to find a different spot. While huddled out front of the house just evicted from, we spotted our beautiful new house... Jesse was her name, she was an abandoned/condemned house. We moved in comfortably and began the most insane two weeks of my life. Here is a picture of Dez's room.... Through all the circumstances we managed to film a tiny bit. This is our summer...
